This Aramid / Spectra / Technora laminate has radically dropped the weight of the upper part of the sail by 40% while increasing tear strength dramatically. Overall sail weight has been reduced by up to 20%. This core technology is the foundation for the most technically advanced wave wing we?ve ever had in our arsenal. Reduced swing weight combined with the proven S-1 profiles and twist flows means the sail is now lighter, faster, stronger and more reactive.
